Wells Fargo has donated $2,500 to the Aiken Technical College Foundation in support of its Student Emergency Support Fund.
“Wells Fargo Bank has been a true community partner of Aiken Technical College for many years and we certainly thank them during these uncertain times for supporting our students. Our goal is to alleviate some of the anxiety students may be experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic and minimize disruptions to their academic progress due to unforeseen financial expenses,” said ATC Foundation Director Mary Commons.
ATC students can apply for up to $250 in emergency funds for needs such as food, housing, medical, utilities and technology.
In order to be considered for funding, applicants must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at ATC, have at least a 2.0 grade point average, and have recently earned six credit hours within the last two semesters.
Community members and organizations may also continue to donate to the fund at www.atc.edu/foundation. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
