The Santee Cooper Board of Directors approved the budget for 2020. The budget includes a combined total for capital and non-fuel O&M for calendar year 2020 of $715.1 million for combined Electric and Water Systems.

The budget also includes Santee Cooper’s projected payment to the state of South Carolina of $17.5 million which represents 1% of projected operating revenues from the combined Electric and Water Systems.

“This budget is based on the 2019 Business Forecast, which signaled fuel and purchased power savings – good news for our customers,” said President and CEO Mark Bonsall. “As soon as we are legally able to, Santee Cooper will gladly provide full details about how the Reform Plan, submitted on November 25, impacts customers as well.”
