Aiken Ophthalmology Welcomes New Doctor

Dr. S. Myles Potter joined the staff at Aiken Ophthalmology on Oct. 1. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a fellowship in cornea and external disease. He also specializes refractive surgery, cataracts, routine eye care and comprehensive ophthalmology.
A native of North Augusta, Potter graduated valedictorian from North Augusta High School. At Davidson College, from which he graduated cum laude, he played in the Academic All-Pioneer Football League and for ESPN's The Magazine Academic All-District Football Team.
Potter earned his medical degree and completed his internal medicine internship at Medical University of South Carolina. He began his ophthalmology residency a month later at the University of Florida and remained there upon completion to undertake a cornea and external disease fellowship.
Potter enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathryn Anne, and their dog, Sullivan. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends, golfing, skiing, traveling, cooking, running, hiking and watching college sports, especially football.
