Local Women's Group Gives USC Aiken Students Scholarships

Town & Country, a women's social and philanthropic organization in the CSRA, gave the University of South Carolina Aiken two scholarships, which will help students in need of financial assistance.
"[The] Town & Country scholarship was extremely helpful," said one student recipient.
"It allowed me to concentrate on studies and not worry about how to pay the tuition."
Mary Driscoll, vice chancellor for advancement and external affairs for the university, received a check from Rachel Pirkle, president of Town & Country.
"This scholarship is truly a blessing," said a Pacer who received one of the scholarships.
