The Aiken Chamber of Commerce has received an Award of Excellence in Communications from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives for its digital campaign to market the new website, www.aikenhasit.com, the innovative new directory featuring the nearly 1,000 members of the Aiken Chamber.
"A website without marketing is pointless. The digital marketing campaign was imperative in the ability to achieve the Chamber's goals and objectives of driving business to its members," said Chamber President/CEO J. David Jameson. "The biggest challenge with a new website is generating traffic. The Google ad words campaign and social media campaign has certainly created the traffic."
The digital marketing campaign for www.aikenhasit.com is one tactical step of many being utilized to make sure Aiken is on the radar of the many individuals moving to this area. The campaign is an opportunity to showcase Aiken as a great place to eat, shop, stay and play for those interested in moving to our community and serves as a reminder to locals to Shop Aiken.
"Effective communication is paramount to all we do here at the Chamber. It is our No. 1 priority to our members, to the community and to numerous other entities," Jameson said.
The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, founded in 1914, serves more than 8,000 chamber of commerce professionals, and 1,300 chambers of commerce or similar organizations around the world.
