Aiken Technical College Summer Pinning Ceremonies to be Held August 1st-2nd

Aiken Technical College’s health sciences division will have pinning ceremonies August 1-2 to celebrate those who have successfully completed their program of study.

The pinning ceremony for Allied Health students will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 1 in the Student Activities Center gymnasium (900 building). Students from the following programs will be recognized: Emergency Medical Technician, Expanded Duty Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Patient Care Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and Surgical Technology. The speaker for the event will be Dr. Keith Brammell, ATC’s Dean of Health Sciences.

The Nursing pinning ceremony will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, August 2 in the amphitheater (700 building) to recognize those completing the practical nursing program. In addition to the pinning, two awards will be presented: Leadership Excellence Award and Tradition of Caring Award.

A reception will immediately follow each ceremony. Both ceremonies are open to the public.
