Nelson Mullins’ Keith Poston to Participate in Bankruptcy Group ‘NextGen’ Program

The National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges has announced that B. Keith Poston, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Columbia office, will participate in its ninth annual Next Generation program. Participant criteria include having five to 10 years in practice, a focus on bankruptcy law, and a demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of civility, ethics, and professionalism. Only 40 attorneys can participate each year.
Poston practices in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors' rights, consumer financial services litigation, and financial institutions. Poston is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the S.C. Bankruptcy Law Association, has served on the Interest Rate Committee of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina, and is a contributing editor of Thomson Reuters’ Bankruptcy Exemption Manual. Active in the community, he is a graduate of the United Way of the Midlands “Blueprint for Leadership” program, serves as vice president of Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity, serves as a volunteer judge with the S.C. Bar Association’s High School and Middle School Mock Trial programs, and is an active member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
