For the second consecutive year, 100 percent of Aiken Technical College’s faculty and staff participated this spring in the annual Family Giving Campaign raising more than $11,560 for student scholarships.

“Reaching 100 percent participation during our Family Giving Campaign shows our students how much the faculty and staff at Aiken Technical College are engaged in helping them succeed,” said Mary Commons, Director of the ATC Foundation.

The campaign team, led by the ATC Foundation, provided a variety of opportunities for employees to get involved including completing pledge forms, sharing their spare change during the “Fill the Pot of Gold” activity, and bidding in the annual silent auction.

“During our Family Giving Campaign, we don't set a specific dollar amount goal. Rather, we focus on participation,” said Commons. “Every gift, large or small, counts and makes an impact on student scholarships.
